Plug in 3 for every t in the equation:

[tex]-16(3)^2 + 64(3) + 80[/tex]

Solve each term:

[tex]-16(3)^2 = -16(9) = -144[/tex]
[tex]64(3) = 192[/tex]

[tex]-144 + 192 + 80 = 128[/tex]

The height of the object will be 128 after 3 seconds.
