1cm:1000cm

multiply the dimensions by 1000cm

4cm--> 4000cm

3cm--> 3000cm

convert 4000cm and 3000cm to metres by dividing by 100

because 1m=100cm

4000/100=40m

3000/100=30m

40m x 30m= 1200m²
