Stephen read 90 pages in 6 days. If he continues reading at that rate, how long will it take him to read 300 pages?

Set up as a proportion

90/6 = 300/x
multiply 90x=6(300)
90x = 1800
divide both sides by 90
x=20

simple, 30 pages per 2 days then times by 10 to get 300p=20 days
20 days is the answer.
