Given,

The force is F=5 N.

The mass is m=3.0 kg

The velocities are 9 m/s to 3 m/s

The impulse is:

[tex]\begin{gathered} I=m(v_f-v_i) \\ \Rightarrow I=3(9-3) \\ \Rightarrow I=\frac{18kgm}{s} \end{gathered}[/tex]

The answer is 18 kgm/s
