Evaluating the expression when b = 6 and x = -5, we'll have;

[tex]\begin{gathered} -(6)+2(-5) \\ -6-10 \\ -16 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Therefore, when b = 6 and x = -5, the expression will be -16.
