0.8 divided 40

Solution

We can do the following:

[tex]\frac{0.8}{40}=\frac{0.8\cdot10}{40\cdot10}=\frac{8}{400}[/tex]

and if we simplify we got:

[tex]\frac{8}{400}=\frac{4}{200}=\frac{2}{100}=\frac{1}{50}=0.02[/tex]
