Chang knows one side of a triangle is 13 cm. Which set of two sides is possible for the lengths of the other two sides of this triangle?

The other sides are 12cm and 5cm. This is a Pythagorean triple. It is useful to know them!!!

If c is the longest side

c>a+b, since c=13

a+b<13

If b (or a) is the longest side

a+13<b

b-a>13
