Raymond Moody is a physician, philosopher, psychologist and he's also an author. In fact, it is in his book, "Life after Life", that he coined near-death experience or NDE.

Instead of using the term near-death experience, Raymond Moody prefers to characterize NDE's as life after life experiences.
